HB Treatment Center Admissions Process
We know that asking for help can be difficult. When you’re ready to take the first step toward recovery, an HBTC admissions counselor will help guide you through the entire process… from pre-admission through discharge.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION
Clinical Evaluation
During your initial call, our admissions director will conduct a brief 20- to 30-minute clinical evaluation where you’ll discuss things such as:
- Drug(s) of choice
- Frequency of drug or alcohol use
- Addiction treatment history
- Incidence of co-occurring behavioral issues (depression, anxiety, mood disorders or obsessive-compulsive disorder)
- Overall health condition or medical problems
Financial Guidance
The reality of treatment of finding a GOOD treatment program is that it can be quite expensive, especially if you’re not insured. So after completing your initial evaluation, an admissions counselor will collect insurance and financial information and work together to determine the best option(s). We will verify your insurance policy, review your benefits plan, and discuss applicable co-payments and payment options for residential or outpatient programs. Our team will answer any questions you have and will help point you to the right resources needed.
Travel Preparation
Whether you are a local resident or traveling from out of state, our team will help coordinate flights and ground transportation. If needed, we’ll send a driver to pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to our facility. Our travel coordinators understand that the journey to our facility can often times be lengthy and stressful and are highly trained to keep you (or your loved one) safe and comfortable during the trip to our Southern California location.
